What's a good reaction time?
| Average | Rating |
|---|---|
| 250–280 ms | Typical for most people |
| 200–250 ms | Fast — good gaming reflexes |
| 150–200 ms | Very fast — pro-level FPS territory |
| <150 ms | Exceptional (and rare on a 60 Hz monitor) |
Your monitor and mouse add real latency: a 60 Hz display adds up to ~16 ms per frame, so the same reflexes score better on 144/240 Hz. Test when you're alert — fatigue slows reactions by 20–40 ms.
