FAQ
What is a hit die?
The die you roll for hit points each level (plus your Constitution modifier). Bigger die, tougher class — a wizard rolls a d6, a barbarian a d12.
When do I get Ability Score Improvements?
Most classes get them at levels 4, 8, 12, 16 and 19 — fighters and rogues get extras. They appear in each class's level table here.
