How it works

About this tool

Building fireworks by hand means crafting stars with the right dyes in the right order — fiddly to get exactly what you pictured. Here you design it visually and copy a single /give command that spawns the finished rocket. Pick 1.20.5+ for the modern item-component format or 1.13–1.20.4 for the older NBT format; both are generated correctly. The colors shown are Minecraft's classic firework-star colors, and you can add any custom color too.

FAQ

Which Minecraft versions does the command support?

Both. Choose 1.20.5+ for the modern component format (firework_rocket[fireworks=…]) or 1.13–1.20.4 for the legacy NBT format (firework_rocket{Fireworks:…}). Bedrock uses a different system and is not covered.

What do trail and twinkle do?

Trail adds the diamond effect — a lingering tail on the sparks. Twinkle adds the glowstone-dust crackle at the end of the burst. You can enable either or both.

How high does the rocket fly?

Flight duration 1 to 3 sets how long the rocket rises before bursting — higher means higher. It also sets how far an elytra is boosted when you use the rocket while gliding.
