- Choose how many dice (up to 20) and an optional modifier for rolls like 2d6+3.
- Hit Roll. You get every individual die, the total, and a history of your last ten rolls.
About this tool
Whether it's a board game with missing dice, a D&D session without your bag, or deciding who does the dishes with best-of-three d20s — this roller does exactly what physical dice do, minus the one that always rolls off the table.
Every die is an independent draw from the browser's cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling, so a d6 is a true 1-in-6 per face. Natural 20s glow green; natural 1s get the red they deserve.
FAQ
Are the rolls fair?
Yes — every die uses the browser's cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling, so each face is exactly equally likely. There is no seed, pattern or streak logic.
What does the modifier do?
It is added to (or subtracted from) the total after the roll — the classic tabletop 2d6+3 style. Set it to 0 to ignore it.
How do I read 4d20?
The first number is how many dice, the second is how many sides — 4d20 means rolling four twenty-sided dice. This roller supports up to 20 dice with up to 1000 sides each.
