QR Code Generator

Paste a link or text, get a clean QR code — no watermark, no account, and it never expires.

How to use

  1. Paste a URL or any text (up to a few hundred characters).
  2. Pick a size and hit Generate.
  3. Download the image — it works forever, because the data lives inside the code itself.

About this tool

A QR code is just text encoded into a scannable pattern — usually a link. This generator creates the code entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, there is no account, no watermark, and — unlike "free" QR services that route your link through their servers — the code points directly at your URL, so it can never expire or be held behind a subscription.

The codes use medium error correction, which survives moderate smudging. For print, generate Large and test a scan from arm's length before mass-printing.

FAQ

Do these QR codes expire?

Never. The destination is encoded directly in the pattern — there is no middleman server that can shut off, which is how "expiring" QR codes from other services happen.

Can I track scans?

Not with a direct code like this — tracking requires routing through a redirect service. If you need analytics, encode a link you control and measure there.

How much text fits?

Realistically up to ~1,000 characters, but shorter is better — less data means bigger, easier-to-scan modules. For long content, encode a link to it instead.

Does Wi-Fi sharing work?

Yes — encode WIFI:T:WPA;S:YourNetwork;P:YourPassword;; and phones will offer to join the network on scan.
